The Richmond Seen is a media platform dedicated to highlighting Richmond’s music, culture, and creative community through visual storytelling, live events, and editorial coverage.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a creative and self-motivated Visual Artist Intern who specializes in videography and/or photography. This role is perfect for someone who wants hands-on experience capturing live events, artist interviews, performances, and community moments.

Responsibilities

• Capture high-quality video and photo content at events, interviews, and activations

• Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media and YouTube

• Edit and retouch photography for web and social platforms

Qualifications

• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop)

• Comfortable using editing apps and mobile creative tools

• Understanding of lighting, framing, and composition

• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

• Passion for music, culture, and community storytelling

Bonus If You Have

• Experience shooting live events

• Your own camera equipment

• Social media content creation experience
