JessWuzHere and ShaelaSoul To Host The 2026 Seen Awards

Vocal powerhouses JessWuzHere and ShaelaSoul will guide the evening’s celebration of culture, creativity, and community for the inaugural Seen Awards on April 16, 2026.

RICHMOND, VA — The inaugural The Seen Awards will take place on Thursday, April 16 at CNTR, celebrating the creatives, leaders, and cultural curators shaping Richmond’s creative community and beyond.

The evening will be hosted by Richmond own JessWuzHere and ShaelaSoul, who will guide the evening’s celebration of culture, music, and community. Doors open at 6p, with the show beginning at 7p

For JessWuzHere, known for her voice, charisma and creative presence in Richmond’s music community, she will help bring The Seen Awards’ inaugural event to life. She is the spirit of artistry and movement in the city that the awards aim to celebrate.

Joining her as co-host, ShaelaSoul brings her own creative energy and connection to Richmond’s R&B/ Soul scene. Together, they will help lead a night dedicated to celebrating the individuals and organizations moving the city forward.

Highlights from the ceremony will be captured by official media partner Royalty Productions Ent., making sure the night’s most memorable moments are documented and shared with our community.
