RICHMOND, VA — We’re excited to announce the confirmed presenters for the 2026 SEEN Awards, which will take place Thursday, April 16. Chauncey Jenkins from VA Hip Hop Foundation, Sebastian Redd from RVA BoomBox and Mooch, co-owner of MOSS Studios are slated to present. Plus we have a surprise presenter that will be announced the night of.
Tickets are now on sale for the 2026 SEEN Awards. This celebration of culture, creativity and community will mark the first ever awards show for TRS, designed to highlight and celebrate the depth of voices within the culture.
The 2026 SEEN Awards will be hosted by Jess Snyder and ShaelaSoul at myCNTR on Thursday, April 16 with a VIP Session beginning at 6pm, and the Award show at 8p. It will be available afterwards for streaming on YouTube.
The SEEN Awards, presented by The Richmond Seen, Virginia’s culturally conscious newspaper, celebrates the depth of the culture. Community submitted nominees go through a rigorous process before being narrowed down to finalists, who are then selected by a creative and diverse SEEN Committee made up of DJs, writers, community activists, business owners, and cultural curators.
8Sixteen will produce the 2026 SEEN Awards, along with Royalty Ent Productions, who will handle the red carpet interviews. It’ll be available on The Richmond Seen’s YouTube channel. Eric Jackson and Tranae Cearnal are the executive producers.
