New Music On Scene: May Edition

I honestly can’t believe how much incredible music has come out of Richmond over the last few months. And not just for streaming — a lot of the records below have tours, shows, and even vinyl releases attached to them. Artists like Fly Anakin, Hernbean, CJ The Profit, Big B, BlackLiq, and Johnny Ciggs have all dropped full projects. We’ve got some dope singles here too. Personally, Skuzii’s Good Grief single is a solid piece of art.

And with collaborations going off the charts, Hernbean has been putting in work with two records on this list. Also, BlackLiq’s 10 Back Commandments on MGMT is worth the listen, and the follow.
