RICHMOND, Va. — Not to be confused with RVA Rap Elite, Southpaw Battle Coalition is a bar for bar, round for round, battle rap event hosted by Radio B., and Lady Savage.

A few Sundays ago, bars like “I kill you so bad l, now I’m rehearsing you,” to bars like “see, stick and split, exodus,” left the room at CNTR erupting with approval at the clever bars. The dumpster scheme from Chef Tokin had everyone going wild in the first round, but Era Hardaway, the new River City Champion left the best bars for last.

Just Cam

The fight card was stacked with TSon vs Mcshaddy, Chef Tokin vs Jerrell Golden, King Cam vs Styck the Scribe, and the battle of the night finds Roc Raw defending his belt against Era Hardaway.

Hardaway, who didn’t take lightly the jokes about his fake death being posted on social media by opponent Roc Raw, ultimately laid his opponent to rest Sunday, edging out a 2–1 win at Southpaw’s Bloody Knuckles main event, despite a few brief stumbles that could’ve cost him the battle.
