Issue 03: Culturally Appropriate Drops Friday; Pre-Orders Shipped
(UPDATED: 10/25; 5:16PM All pre-orders have been shipped and are expected to arrive on your doorstep early next week. For those looking to own an immortal piece of Richmond culture, tap in here. The next issue drops in 2026. If you’re a small business or an artist, we’d love to hear from you — let’s keep our stories seen and our voices heard).
The Richmond Seen’s next issue, Culturally Appropriate, drops this Friday, featuring All City Art Club’s Silly Genius, and Chris Visions, as they set to open their new space on Halloween. This 20-page, full color issue dives deep into the voices, visuals, and culture shaping our city right now.
Now, real talk — we hit a small snag. Our original mailers couldn’t quite handle the glow-up. With four extra pages, a larger format and a new 55 GSM newspaper stock, this issue is a little bigger, a little bolder, and a lot more us. That means shipping’s running just a touch behind schedule. But trust, it’s worth the wait.
Can’t wait? You don’t have to.
Limited copies will be available beginning Friday, (10/24) at the below locations:
Le Cache Dulcet – grab a matcha spritzer and a read
Dames RVA– sneakers, streetwear, and culture collide
Vinyl Conflict - vinyl shop, vintage band tees
Insomnia Book Company - online bookstore, in-person discussions
All City Art Club – find us there next Friday (10/31)
We’re smoothing out the mailer hiccups, but Culturally Appropriate is ready to be seen, held, and read. Keep your eyes peeled — and as always, thanks for helping us keep the city, and the culture seen..
