RICHMOND, VA —This morning, the We Influence Summit: Changing the Narrative kicks off at the Robinson Theatre in Richmond, bringing together creatives, professionals, and culture enthusiasts who are shaping the culture both locally and beyond.
A spinoff of the Culture is Couture platform, the one-day summit runs from 9 am to 3 pm and will feature a series of panel discussions centered on the power of influence and professionalism in shifting culture across fashion, beauty, entertainment, and digital spaces.
Throughout the day, attendees can expect relevant conversations exploring topics such as “The Anatomy of Influence & What It Really Takes to Shift Culture,” “The Most Borrowed, The Most Blamed: Reframing ‘Ghetto Culture’ in Black Influence,” and “Black Culture Is the DNA, But Who Profits From the Blueprint?”
Each panel will feature a lineup of moderators and panelists offering insight, perspective, and real world experience. The discussions aim to inspire creators, innovators, and dreamers who are looking to scale their businesses, refine their voices, and move their visions forward.
According to Erica Shambley, the summit was created to expand on conversations that had already happening.
“We said lets take that a step further and really deep dive into conversations specifically around ideation to execution,” Shambley said during a recent interview on Virginia This Morning.
Designed as both a conversation and a catalyst, the We Influence Summit creates space for dialogue around creativity, ownership, and the future of culture while equipping attendees with the tools and inspiration to make their mark.
